UCV Common Reads Spring/Summer 2022

The Spring/Summer Common Reads season at UCV will run from April to September, and will be focused on two important recent books: "Standoff: Why Reconciliation Fails Indigenous People and How to Fix It" by author and UCV Board Member Bruce McIvor, and "The Skin We're In" by Desmond Cole.

Lifespan director Kiersten Moore has several copies of both books available to be checked out, and we also encourage members who are able to purchase the books from local independent booksellers.
Welcome to Spring/Summer Common Reads at UCV. 

We are launching a Common Reads initiative to engage new and existing small groups in a unifying exploration.

You can sign-up to form a new group here, let us know if you're willing to facilitate, OR your current small group or book group may choose to read these titles, use this form to connect your group to updates.

We will connect people to groups based on your time of day availability.

Existing small groups are welcome and encouraged to organize to discuss the Common Reads this Spring and Summer.

This form will help us connect individuals wanting to be part of new Common Reads circles, based on availabilities.
